    O.N.L.F Statement: Exploitation Of Ogaden Oil & Gas Wealth. 6 January 2009 - The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) has stated on multiple occasions that we will not allow the exploitation of the Oil & Gas wealth of our country as long as our people are denied their legitimate rights to self-determination. In that context, the ONLF affirms that if reports that Petronas will resume oil exploration activities in Ogaden are true, this will not be tolerated.
    O.N.L.F Information Bulletin 31 December 2008 (Information Supplement For Dec 20th 2008 Press Statement    http://onlf.org/onlfpress2012008.html) The following are some of the names of those civilians massacred by the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) in Mooyaha village, Ogaden on December 17th 2008. In total 48 civilians were gunned down in the village center. The area was closed of for several days in order to remove the bodies and eliminate the evidence of a massacre. These people were unarmed.

    O.N.L.F Statement: Crackdown on Ethnic Somalis In Ogaden & Addis Ababa. 27 December 2008 - Following the massacre of Ogaden civilians in the village of Mooyaha near the town of Ararso 50 Km north west of Dhagahbur, Ogaden,  on the 17th of December 2008, the Ethiopian regime has launched a major military operation, consisting of both ground and airborne troops estimated to be about three brigades in the regions of  Jigjiga, Nogob, and West of Dhagahbur.

    ONLF Statement on Massacre In Mooyaha Village, Ogaden. 20 december 2008 - The Ethiopian regimes army has carried out a wanton massacre in the village of Mooyaha near the town of Ararso 50 Km north west of Dagahbur, Ogaden on the the 17th of December 2008.

(Nairobi) - Dec 09,2008 - All parties in the escalating conflict in Somalia have regularly committed war crimes and other serious abuses during the past year that have contributed to the country's humanitarian catastrophe, Human Rights Watch said in a report released today

    ONLF Statement. 7 December 2008 - The Ethiopian regime has deployed six combat helicopters to the Ogaden based in the city of Qabri-Dahar. These helicopters began assault operations on Dec 5th with sorties still ongoing.

    The Ethiopia Government Denial of War Crimes: A shoddy attempt at deceiving the international community. 28 Nov 2008 - The Ethiopian government’s response regarding Human Rights Watch’s report on War Crimes perpetrated by the Ethiopian Army against the Ogaden Somali civilian population is a weak and shoddy attempt at trying to subvert the truth and deceive the international community about the Zenawi regime’s crime in the Ogaden.

Nov 29, 2008 - Ginbot 7 Movement for Freedom and Justice ginbot-7-logo.gifrejects the claim made by the regime in Ethiopia that no war crime took place in the Ogaden region.On June 11 this year, the Human Rights Watch (HRW) had issued a report supported by satellite photos that accuses Meles Zenawi's regime in Ethiopia of rampant war crimes, including the burning of villages, mass execution of civilians, rape, torture, and blockade of food in the Ogaden region.

    UN officials to investigate fraud reports at refugee agency. Nov 28, 2008 - Two UN officials are investigating fraud reports in their resettlement and registration operations.The officials from the UN Inspector General Office in Geneva visited the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) offices in Westlands, Nairobi, to investigate alleged registration of Kenyan Somalis posing as refugees. The registration targets refugees from Ogaden region in Southern Ethiopia.

Nov 28, 2008 - Back in June 2008 this year, the internationally recognized human rights organization known as the Human Rights Watch (HRW) published the most detailed, first hand account of the type of atrocities and genocide carried out by the Ethiopian regime against the Ogaden civilians throughout Ogaden.

Nov 27, 2008 - Ethiopia is challenging a Human Rights Watch report that accuses Ethiopian soldiers of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during a counterinsurgency campaign in its eastern Somali region. As we hear from correspondent Peter Heinlein in Addis Ababa, a team of Ethiopian investigators has issued a counter report charging the U.S.-based rights group with making false allegations based on flawed methods.

    ONLF Statement Welcoming The UK's Decision To Withhold Aid To The Ethiopian Regime. 18 October 2008 - The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) welcomes the announcement by the Minister for International Cooperation of the United Kingdom, Mr. Douglas Alexander, that Britain will withhold future aid commitments to Ethiopia due to the Ethiopian regimes obstructions of such aid. 

    British minister withholds aid as Ethiopia hides famine victims. October 18, 2008 - Britain is to withhold future aid commitments to Ethiopia over concerns that its Government is obstructing efforts to help millions at risk of famine in the drought-stricken Somali region in the east of the country.
